Fenerbahçe Statistics (English)

(Last updated on August 26, 2014.)

This blog includes the statistics of the Turkish multi-sports club Fenerbahçe and its football team and players mostly since 1959, which is accepted by the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) as the first season of the Turkish professional league. Fenerbahçe SK (Sports Club) was founded in 1907 and its football team had participated in the local and national leagues until 1959, which those years have been ignored by the TFF and excluded while determining the number of professional league championships. Fenerbahçe is the first champion of the Turkish First Division, aka Süper Lig, in 1959, and has won this tournament for 19 times including the 2013-14 season.

This blog has been and will continue to be written in Turkish. However, I (Erdem Karaca, a Fenerbahçe fan) will regularly update this post for the foreign readers of this blog. In this post, I will briefly explain the way I write to this blog, and try to make it easier for the non-Turkish readers to understand what the numbers and the corresponding Turkish words mean. Since statistics in football and this blog are just a bunch of numbers, I believe it would be easy for a real football fan to understand what is going on in this blog.

First of all, I'd like to translate the tabs above:

So far, I tried to simplify the posts in the whole blog for the non-Turkish readers. Rest of the tabs that I haven't talked about in detail is most likely only in Turkish that includes my personal posts about Fenerbahçe Sports Club, such as "Fenerbahçe Players in the Panini Sticker Albums". However, I added the translations of those tabs as well, in the very beginning of this post. Hope you enjoy this post and the blog. Şampiyon Fenerbahçe!
